HISTORY: Wossenu is from the countryside and was extremely abused by his parents, whose whereabouts are now unknown. He lived on the streets begging from about the age of 6 1/2, with his friend Abeti (also at Shalom). Tenagne found them and brought them to Shalom.

$180 a month is required to provide for Wossenu's basic needs, including food, clothing, school, medical and housing.
