HISTORY: Shikuria and her brother, Esmael, live with their mother, Lubaba, and come to Shalom part time. Lubaba washes laundry by hand for people in the community to earn money, but she needs help from Shalom to support her family.

$180 a month is required to provide for Shikuria's basic needs, including food, school, medical and housing.
