HISTORY: Israel is a single orphan whose father passed away. They have been supported part-time by Shalom since 2009. The mother is mentally unstable and sent the children to live with their grandmother, who was abusive. They then came to live at Shalom full-time in 2015.

$180 a month is required to provide for Israel's basic needs, including food, school, medical and housing.
